Well that was an incredibly fun night last at "The End" party to finish off the Telus festival meaning little to no sleep so far for this guy. Eventually it comes to that point where you realize it's too late in the morning to get any sleep. In my case it was time to get up and go snowboarding and take it all slowly in as I smile at the silly haze I'm left on this Sunday and with thoughts of the wonderful times of the previous night keeping me going. So what do you listen to on a Sunday like this? Something mellow, yet uplifting and fun, groovy enough to keep you awake and in the perma-grin state but nothing to make your delicate head hurt. Nothing too intense, nothing too chill, which leads me to JK Soul. A recent discovery of mine, he is on the same lable as gramatik and has a very similar sound... jazzy instrumental hip-hop or something like that. These are my 3 favorite tracks of his album "Dinner With the Beatz Vol. 2". Enjoy!
