The Paper Bag Princess

Today as I rode the Whistler Gondola up from midstation, there was already a ski instructor with 4 four-year-old boys on the Gondola. This instructor was the real deal, the kind that as a kid could only wish for. She spent the next 15 minutes captivating these young boys and myself with 3 different Robert Munsch Stories, the final one being "The Paper Bag Princess" These kids would laugh at the stories and say "what the heck?" and "Holy Guacamole!" while staring at the pictures in the book, even though they had obviously very recently heard it. For those of you who don't know the excellent message behind "The Paper Bag Princess" the princess saves the boy from the dragon, except in the process she has to wear a paper bag because her clothes got burned. When she saves the boy he doesn't like her anymore in her paper bag, and therefore she realizes she is better off without him. All the power to her, but what a silly boy! I mean, I would be perfectly happy if a princess came to save me wearing nothing but a paper bag.

Anyways, here's 2 tracks that samples kids playing because kids are just so darn cute and happy, why not feel that warmth and nostalgia in a few tracks? These are both some sort of down-tempo melodic track that actually sound quite similar despite being years apart and by different artists.
